Jimmy Skeens
President
Jimmy is the President of Harman Fuels LLC., specializing in coal origination and logistics. He has worked in the coal industry for 37 years starting at Norfolk Southern Corporation in 1986, up until his retirement in 2022.
During Jimmy's first 16 years at Norfolk Southern (NS), he managed all train movements for the Pocahontas Division in the heart of Central Appalachian coalfields. In 2002, he transitioned to Coal Marketing where he managed coalfield origin development across the NS system which included CAPP, NAPP, ILB, and SAPP coal basins. Jimmy concluded his career at Norfolk Southern as the Director of Coal Customer Logistics in 2022, managing rail coordination for all NS coal customers.
Cody Harman
Managing Member
Cody started working at 18 years old for his father at his construction and mining company.
In 2010 Cody and Jeff Harman founded Genesis Rail Services, Inc., a company that provides railroad construction services to Class 1 Railroads. In 2021 Genesis Rail Services was acquired by a private equity firm and Cody still holds a minority interest in the company. In 2021 Cody founded Harman Energy LLC., which is involved in acquiring large surface mining equipment globally for the Mining sector.
